Hadlow Fields CSI day

Over the weekend we will be turning Hadlow Fields in a forensic laboratory where Guides and Rangers will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to be a crime scene investigator and forensic scientist.
Girls accompanied by their leaders will get hands on at 5 different forensic science experiment stations plus our crime scene. Stations may include white powder analysis, lifting & examining fingerprints, analysis of hair and fibres, footprints & tyre impressions, blood splatter analysis, scents & lipstick analysis, powers of observation and crime scene tool marks analysis.
- Sessions will last 2hrs 15mins.
- Session 1: site arrival time 9.15am, start time 9.30am site departure time 11.45am
- Session 2: site arrival time 12.15pm, start time 12.30, site departure time 2.45pm
- Session 3: site arrival time 3.15pm, start time 3.30pm, site departure time 5.45pm
- Each session has a maximum participant number of 40.
- Cost is £13 per girl and will include an event badge.
- Units need to arrange their own transport to and from Hadlow Fields.
- Units will need to ensure that Consent Forms are completed, a Home Contact is in place, and they provide first aid cover for their unit and bring a suitable first aid kit.
