Who can apply?

County grants are available to both young members and leaders undertaking international trips.  Trips must include Girlguiding service. 

INTOPS selection

For trips where the participant has earned a place by successfully taking part in both county and region INTOPS the grant values are:

Adults – 33% of the trip cost or £800 whichever is the lowest value

Young members – 25% of the trip cost or £500 whichever is the lowest value

Other types of trips e.g. IST (service team) 

For trips where the participant has volunteered to support a Girlguiding trip such as Roverway, the grant values are: 

Adults – 17.5% of the trip cost or £400 which ever is the lowest value

• Your district and / or division may be able to help
• Your unit can support you with fundraising
• County Trefoil Guild can be approached – write them a letter! TrefoilGuildChair@GirlguidingWirral.org.uk
• You may also have a local Trefoil Guild to ask. 

We do not offer grants to members taking part in unit trips unless under exceptional circumstances.  Members are encouraged to look at other funding sources such as North West Girlguiding and HQ.
