DESCRIPTION:Frostbite is a winter weekend camp for Rangers\, Young Leaders and Guides aged 13+ at the time of the event.  \nHow much does it cost?\n£33 per girl\, including food and activities. Payable via the eventbrite link by parents directly please. \nWhat does it involve?\nAttendees will get to do activities they choose from a selection. These are still being finalised\, but we’re aiming to include some beading\, crafts\, practical first aid\, geocaching and bushcraft.\nAfter a day of activities\, we’ll have a campfire\, a film and a sleep over – girls leaders will be able to arrange a tent (even if they have to ask us at Hadlow).\nAfter a warming breakfast\, it will be back to activities\, followed by a team challenge. \nHow do I book?\nParents need to book via the eventbrite link. Consent and health forms will be emailed out. Girls will need their membership number from their leader.

SUMMARY:Hadlow Fields CSI day
DESCRIPTION:Over the weekend we will be turning Hadlow Fields in a forensic laboratory where Guides and Rangers will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to be a crime scene investigator and forensic scientist. \nGirls accompanied by their leaders will get hands on at 5 different forensic science experiment stations plus our crime scene. Stations may include white powder analysis\, lifting & examining fingerprints\, analysis of hair and fibres\, footprints & tyre impressions\, blood splatter analysis\, scents & lipstick analysis\, powers of observation and crime scene tool marks analysis. \n\nSessions will last 2hrs 15mins.\nSession 1: site arrival time 9.15am\, start time 9.30am site departure time 11.45am\nSession 2: site arrival time 12.15pm\, start time 12.30\, site departure time 2.45pm\nSession 3: site arrival time 3.15pm\, start time 3.30pm\, site departure time 5.45pm\nEach session has a maximum participant number of 40.\nCost is £13 per girl and will include an event badge.\nUnits need to arrange their own transport to and from Hadlow Fields.\nUnits will need to ensure that Consent Forms are completed\, a Home Contact is in place\, and they provide first aid cover for their unit and bring a suitable first aid kit.\n\nBooking details have been sent you unit main contacts.
